先月、成田空港に到着した60代の男性がフィリピンで報告されている新型コロナの変異ウイルスに感染していたことが分かりました。

厚生労働省によりますと、60代の男性は先月26日にフィリピンから成田空港に到着しました。　
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a man around 60 years old arrived at Narita Airport from the Philippines on the 26th last month.
男性に症状はなく、現在は施設で療養していて、濃厚接触者はいないということです。
He has no symptoms of the disease and is currently being treated in the facility and has no close contact.
国立感染症研究所によりますと、検出されたウイルスはフィリピンで複数報告されているもので、

イギリスや南アフリカ、ブラジルで流行しているウイルスと同じ変異が確認されていることから同程度の感染力とみられるということです。
