総務省が5日に発表した家計調査によりますと、2月に2人以上の世帯が消費に使った金額は1世帯当たり27万9868円でした。
According to a household survey released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on the 5th, the spending amount of households with two or more people in February was 279,868 yen per household.
物価の変動を除いた実質で、前の年の同じ月に比べて0.5％減少しました。　
The actual excludes price changes, which were down 0.5% compared to the same month last year.
消費支出の減少は12カ月連続となります。　
This is the 12th consecutive month that consumer spending has decreased.
今年の2月は、うるう年で通常の年より1日多かった影響を除くと実質2.7％の減少でした。

物価の高騰が全体に影響したほか、暖冬などの影響で電気代やガス代の減少幅が大きく、光熱・水道費の支出は18.6％減りました。
In addition to the general impact of soaring prices, electricity and gas bills dropped significantly due to the warm winter, and utility costs dropped 18.6%.
一方で、私立中学への入学試験の受験者数が過去最高の水準となったことや私立大学の授業料などが増加した影響で、教育費は41.5％と大幅に増加しました。
On the other hand, education costs increased significantly by 41.5% due to the highest number of students taking entrance exams to private middle schools and increased tuition fees at private universities.
