三段梯子を作ってみましょう。
Let's make a three-step ladder.
このあやとりは、梯子シリーズの三段目になります。
This cat's cradle is level 3 of my "ladder" series.
両手の動きが同じなので、覚えやすいあやとりになります。
The movement of the hands is the same, so this cat's cradle will be easy to learn.
初めに、両手の親指と小指に紐を掛けて、
First, hand the string over the thumb and pinky fingers of both hands,
左手のひらの紐を右手の中指で下から、
and (take) the string on your left palm from below with your right middle finger
同じように、右手のひらの紐を左手の中指で下から取ります。
Similarly, take the string on your right palm with your left middle finger from below.
次に、小指の紐を外して、
Next, release the string from your pinkies,
紐の下をくぐらせて、
and bring your pinkies through underneath the string,
親指に掛かっている手前の紐を、小指で下から取ります。
grabbing the string nearest you hanging on your thumbs with your pinkies from below.
次に、親指に掛かっている紐を外して、
Next, release the string hanging on your thumbs,
小指に掛かっている手前の紐、この紐を下から取ります。
and the string hanging on your pinkies that's nearer to you - grab this string from below.
次に、中指に掛かっている手前の紐、
Next, the string in front that is hanging on your middle fingers,
この紐を親指で下から取ります。
take this string from below with your thumbs.
次に、親指に掛かっている紐の、
Next, from the strings that are hanging over your thumbs,
下の方の紐だけを外します。
release only the bottom string.
そして、この部分に中指を上から入れて、小指の紐を外します。
And then, put in your middle finger from the top into this part, and release the pinkie strings.
最後に、右の手のひらを向こう側、
Finally, (turn) the right palm to the other side,
左手をこちら側へ向けて、指を広げると、
and turn the left hand to this side, and spread out your fingers.
はい、三段梯子の完成です。
Okay, the three-step ladder is complete.
ポイントは、親指に掛かった下の方の紐を外すところです。
The key is the part where you release the bottom string on the thumbs.
親指を内側へ向けて倒して、
Face the thumbs inwards and turn down.
向こうから手前へ少し回転させて親指を立てると、
If you turn a little from the other side to the front and hold up your thumbs,
下の紐だけを外すことができます。
you can release just the bottom strings.
慣れないうちは片方の親指ずつ、
When you're not used to it, do one thumb at a time.
慣れてきたら同時にやってみるといいでしょう。
Once you get used to it, I think it would be good for you to try doing them at the same time.
