JR東日本の喜勢陽一社長は今月9日、初めての定例会見で、5月から楽天銀行のインフラを使って、ネットバンク「JRE　BANK」のサービスを始めることを発表しました。　
On the 9th of this month, JR East President Yoichi Kise announced in his first regular press conference that the company will start providing an online banking service called “JRE BANK” starting from May using Rakuten Bank's infrastructure.
口座残高に応じて運賃が4割引きとなるサービス券を配るなどで100万口座の開設を目指すということです。　
The aim is to open 1 million accounts by distributing service coupons that offer 40% off ticket prices depending on account balance.
また、データを活用してサービスの向上につなげたいとしています。　
He also expressed hope to use data to improve his services.
JR東日本の社長に国鉄の民営化後に入社した社員が就任するのは初めてです。
This is the first time an employee who joined the company after JNR's privatization was appointed as president of JR East.
