車の電動化が世界的に加速するなか、日産自動車はヨーロッパ向けのガソリンエンジンの開発を終了したと明らかにしました。
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced that it had completed development of a gasoline engine for Europe as the electrification of cars accelerates worldwide.
日本での開発も段階的な縮小を検討します。

日産は決算会見を開き、排ガス規制が強まるとされるヨーロッパでガソリン車のコストが電動車より高くなるとしてヨーロッパ向けのガソリンエンジンの開発を終了したと明らかにしました。　
Nissan held a press conference and announced that it has ended development of gasoline engines for Europe, says that the cost of petrol cars will be higher than that of electric cars in Europe, where emissions regulations are expected to be tightened.
日本では2026年度までに新車販売の55％以上を電動車にする方針で、ガソリンエンジンの開発費などは市場動向をみながら段階的に縮小することを検討します。　
In Japan, the policy is to convert more than 55% of new car sales to electric vehicles by 2026, and the company will consider gradually reducing development costs of gasoline engines while observing market trends.
日産は2022年3月期決算が3年ぶりの黒字に転換する見通しです。　
Nissan expects to turn a profit for the first time in three years in the fiscal year ending March 2022.
