欧州委員会は、パレスチナ自治区ガザを実効支配するイスラム組織「ハマス」によるイスラエルへの大規模な攻撃を受け、パレスチナへの支援の凍結を発表しました。　
The European Commission announced a halt to aid to Palestine in response to a large-scale attack on Israel by the Islamist group Hamas, which effectively controls the Palestinian autonomous region of Gaza.
EU、ヨーロッパ連合、の執行機関である欧州委員会は9日、パレスチナ支援を凍結すると発表しました。　
On the 9th, the European Commission, the executive body of the European Union, announced it would freeze aid to Palestine.

EUはすべての支援の支払いを即時停止し、総額6億9100万ユーロ相当の支援を見直すとしています。　
The EU will suspend all aid payments with immediate effect and review aid worth a total of 691 million euros.
EUが支援するプロジェクトは、NGOなどの現地パートナーによって実施されていて、パレスチナ自治区の住民にとって必要不可欠なサービスを提供してきたということです。　
EU-supported projects have been implemented by local partners, including NGOs, and have provided essential services to residents of the Palestinian territories.
欧州委員会は、「イスラエルとその国民に対するテロと残虐行為の規模は、転換点だ」「通常通りの業務はあり得ない」としています。
“The scale of terrorism and atrocities against Israel and its people is a turning point” and “it is impossible to have business as usual,” the European Commission said.
