WHO（世界保健機関）は、新型コロナウイルスについて「夏になれば消えると考えるのは誤りだ」と過度な期待を戒め、今できる対策に全力を尽くすべきだと訴えました。
WHO (World Health Organization) has issued recommendations regarding high expectations of the new corona virus, "thinking that the virus will disappear by the summer is wrong", and urging people to take action immediately to cope with the disease.

「インフルエンザのように夏になれば消えるという根拠はない」としました。
and "there is no basis to confirm that the corona virus will disappear by summer like the flu ”.
そのうえで「自然消滅を期待せず、今こそウイルスと闘わなければならない」と強調しました。
He also stressed, "We need to take action to fight the virus now, not to hope it disappears."
また、日本と韓国を巡っては週明けから互いに入国規制を強化することについて「有効ではない」として自制を促しました。
