上海では多くの市民が食糧の確保が難しいと訴えていて、この視察を巡り「直前に食糧が用意され冷蔵庫に詰め込まれた」との指摘が出ています。　
Many residents in Shanghai complained that it was difficult to secure food, and it was pointed out that "the food was prepared and packaged in the refrigerator just before this inspection".
SNSには「視察がデタラメなことは知っていたが、これはやりすぎだ」「食糧をもらえるなら我が家も視察を歓迎する」といった批判や皮肉が相次いで投稿されています。
