政府は、コロナ禍で原則停止していた外国人留学生らの入国を今日から再開します。　
The government will continue to allow entry of foreign students, who have had to suspend their studies as a general rule because of the impact of the corona virus, from today.
在留資格を持ちながら入国できない人はおよそ37万人を数えます。　
The number of people who have the status of residence but are not allowed to enter is about 370,000 people.
政府は、新型コロナの影響で原則停止していた外国人留学生や技能実習生らの入国について、受け入れ先の大学や企業が入国後の行動を管理することを条件に今日から認めます。　
The government will allow foreign students and technical interns, who have been suspended due to the effects of the corona virus, to enter the country from today, provided that the host university or company controls their behavior after entry.
一日の入国者上限は3500人で、国や地域は問いません。　
The maximum number of people that can enter Japan per day is 3,500 people, regardless of country or region.
また、ビジネス目的の海外からの入国者について、ワクチン接種や検査での陰性確認などを条件にこれまでの待機期間10日から3日に短縮されます。　
In addition, for foreigners entering for business purposes, the waiting time will be shortened from 10 days to 3 days, provided that the person has been vaccinated and confirmed negative in the tests.
外国人観光客の入国に関しては今回は見送り、年内をめどに検討を重ねていくということです。
