乗客乗員520人が犠牲になった日航機墜落事故から今日で36年です。
It has been 36 years since the Japan Airlines crash that killed 520 passengers and crew.
昨日、群馬県上野村の墜落現場の近くで灯籠に明かりをつけて犠牲者への祈りが捧げられました。　
Yesterday, near the accident scene in Ueno village, Gunma prefecture, lanterns were lit and prayers were sent to the victims.
墜落現場となった御巣鷹の尾根の麓を流れる神流川では毎年、8月11日に日航機が墜落した午後6時56分に合わせて灯籠流しが行われていました。　
Every year at the Kanna River, which flows at the foot of Mount Mitsutaka, where the accident happened, at 6:56 p.m. when Japan Airlines crashed on August 11, the lanterns were lit and floated down the river.
去年は新型コロナのために中止されましたが、今年は灯籠を川に流さずに、LEDに点灯する形で行われました。　
Last year the event was canceled due to the effects of the corona virus, but this year it was held by lighting up LED lights instead of releasing lanterns into the river.
200の灯籠にはコロナの影響や高齢のために参加できなかった遺族らの想いが書き込まれていて、夕闇に包まれた川岸を暖かく照らしました。

遺族は今日、御巣鷹の尾根を目指して慰霊登山を行います。
