クリスマスを前に、富山県魚津市にある日本で最も歴史のある水族館では、トナカイの衣装を着たダイバーが水槽の魚たちにホタルイカなどをプレゼントしました。　
Before Christmas, at Japan's oldest aquarium in Uozu city, Toyama Prefecture, a diver dressed in a reindeer costume gave firefly squid and other gifts to the fish in the tank.
1913年・大正2年に誕生した「魚津水族館」は今年、創立110周年。
Uozu Aquarium, founded in 1913, the year Taisho 2, will celebrate its 110th anniversary this year.
日本に現存するなかでは最も歴史がある水族館です。　
This is the oldest aquarium in Japan.
この季節の見ものは、トナカイに扮したダイバーによるお食事タイム。
The highlight of this season is mealtime during which the divers dress up as reindeer.
ダイバーは「富山湾大水槽」の中を華麗に泳ぎながら、ブリやヒラマサなど富山湾に生息する魚たちに餌となる冷凍のホタルイカや魚の切り身をプレゼントしました。
Divers presented frozen firefly squid and fish fillets as food to yellowtail, sunfish, and other fish living in Toyama Bay as they glamorously swam in the "Toyama Bay Aquarium.
「すごい迫力があって、かわいかった。この子も釘付けで見てました」　
“The performance was breathtaking and lovely. My daughter was glued to watch.”
華やかに飾り付けした写真スポットも人気で、水族館は今月24日までクリスマスムードに包まれます。
The beautifully decorated photo locations are also very popular and the aquarium will bring a Christmas atmosphere until the 24th of this month.
