若い男が二人で歩いていると、道の上に手紙が落ちていました。
Two young man were walking on the road, suddenly they saw a letter on the ground.
一人の男がそれを見つけて、
The man who found it, said to his friend
「これは、ちり紙の代わりにちょうどよい」
"Oh, I can use this letter instead of toilet paper."
と、ひろって、ふところに入れようとすると、隣にいたもう一人の男が、
and he picked it up. When the man was going to put the letter in his clothes, the other man standing next to him said
「頼む。その手紙を、おれにくれ」
"Please give me that letter."
「ああ、いいが、
"Ah, it's fine.
一体こんな物、何にするのだ？」
But what will you do with this？"
と、拾った男が聞くと、
The man who picked the letter up asked.
「しばらく田舎へ手紙をやっていないので、それをもらって代わりに出すのさ」
"I haven't written and sent letters to my family for a long time, I am going to send that letter instead."
「しかし、他人の手紙だぞ。そんなんで大丈夫か？」
