新型コロナの抗原検査キットを製造・販売する会社が製品の一部を自主回収すると発表しました。
A company that makes and sells novel coronavirus antigen testing kits announced that it had been voluntarily recalling some of its products.
「偽陽性」の確率が高まることが確認されたためとしています。
The cause is confirmed to be due to an increased probability of "false positives".
自主回収するのは化学品メーカー「デンカ」が新潟県の工場で製造した抗原検査キットで、製造番号が「0750121」から「0850121」までの130万回分です。　
The product that is voluntarily recalled is an antigen test kit made by chemical manufacturer "Denka" at a factory in Niigata Prefecture, and the serial number is 1.3 million times from "0750121" to " 0850121".
このキットは鼻の粘膜を採取しておよそ15分で結果が分かるもので、政府が医療機関や高齢者施設に配っていた分も含まれています。　
The kit collects the mucous membranes of the nose and shows the results in about 15 minutes, it also includes money distributed by the government to institutions and medical facilities for the elderly.
製品を使った人から「陽性と出たので、PCR検査をしたら陰性だった」との苦情が相次いだたため会社が調査していました。　
The company is investigating because of a series of complaints from people who have used the product "I got a positive result so I did a PCR test and it was negative".
その結果、製造から時間が経つと本来、陰性の人が陽性となる「偽陽性」の確率が高まることが分かったとしています。　
The result shows that, after a long time since manufacture, the probability of "false positives", i.e. people who test negative but test positive, increases.
回収したキットは改良された製品と交換するということです。
Kits collected will be replaced with an improved product.
