能登半島地震から今日で2カ月を迎えます。
Today marks two months since the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
日常が戻らないなか、輪島の朝市名物だったせんべいの製造が再開しました。
While life has not yet returned to normal, senbei production, which is a specialty of Wajima's morning market, has continued to open.
「うちも朝市で70年間、親の代から商売してたけど、うちの元居た場所がどこか、訳が分からなくなっている」　
"My family has been working in the morning market for 70 years since my parents' lifetime, but I don't know where the old place is anymore."
名物「朝市せんべい」を屋台で売り続けてきた中森治さん。

無事だった工場の水道がようやく復旧し、息子で3代目の虎太郎さんと再び、せんべいを焼き始めました。
The factory's water supply was finally restored, and he and his son, Torataro, the third generation, began baking senbei again.
「お店の方々がまた元通りとまではいかなくても、朝市に出店できるような形に落ち着けたら良いなと思います」　
“Even if shop owners cannot return to normal, I hope things can stabilize to the point where they can open shops at the morning market.”
今は県外からの注文が中心で震災前の3割ほどの稼働ですが、親子は早く輪島で自分たちのせんべいを売りたいと街全体の復興を願っています。
Currently, the business is operating at about 30% of pre-quake capacity, with most orders coming from outside the province, but father and son hope to sell senbei in Wajima as soon as possible and the economy will recover.
