現在、はるか遠くの小惑星を目指して飛行を続けている「はやぶさ2」。

実験場所は、2026年7月に経由する予定の直径およそ700メートルの小惑星で、10キロメートル以内まで近づく計画です。　
The test site is an asteroid about 700 meters in diameter, expected to pass by in July 2026 and expected to come within 10 kilometers.
正確な軌道で小惑星のギリギリまで近づく技術を実証することで、地球防衛技術の獲得につなげます。
