新ブランド「X」に変更したSNS大手の旧ツイッターを巡り、本社に設置した看板がまぶしすぎると住民からの苦情が相次ぎ、地元当局が調査を開始しました。　
The local government launched an investigation after complaints from residents that the sign installed at the old Twitter headquarters, changed to the new brand "X", was too bright.

A giant "X" sign suddenly appeared on the roof of Twitter's former headquarters in San Francisco.
夜中にもかかわらず、「X」のロゴは煌々と輝き、時には激しく点滅する姿も見られます。　
Even at midnight, the “X” logo shines brightly, and it can sometimes be seen flashing intermittently.
地元メディアなどによりますと、近隣住民からは、「アパートに直接光が当たって、部屋全体が明るくなっている」などといった苦情が相次いでいるということです。　
According to local media, there have been a number of complaints from nearby residents that the light shines directly into their apartments and brightens the entire room. 　
こうした状況を受けて市当局は、看板の設置が規則に違反していないか調査を開始しました。　
In response to this situation, city officials began an investigation to determine whether the installation of the signs violated any regulations.
当局は報告書の中でX社側が屋上への立ち入りを2回拒否したと指摘したうえで、担当者から「ロゴの看板は一時的なものだ」と説明を受けたとしています。
In the report, the authorities pointed out that Company X twice refused to go to the rooftop and said the person in charge explained that the logo sign was only temporary.
