8日の成人の日を前に、子どもが10歳になった節目を祝福する「2分の1成人式」が化粧品メーカーの社内で行われました。

For the first time, cosmetics manufacturer Rank Up held a 1/2 Coming of Age Ceremony for its employees' children.
子どもたちに働くことの意義を学ばせ、将来のことを考えるきっかけを作るためとしています。　
The aim of this event is to help children understand the meaning of work and give them the opportunity to think about their future.
子どもたちは「2分の1成人証書」を授与された後、将来の夢を発表したり、母親の仕事である化粧品開発を実際に体験したりしました。　
After the children were awarded the “½ maturity certificate,” they presented their dreams for the future and experienced their mother's cosmetics development work.
また、母親はそれぞれ子どもにメッセージを送りました。　
Then the mothers also sent a message to their children.
2分の1成人式は小学校や自治体などが開催していますが、企業ではあまり行われていません。
Half-adulthood ceremonies are organized by primary schools and local authorities but are not usually organized by companies.
